Thanks to local donors, the Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization (CPRO) has delivered meals to the hardworking staff at both the Arlington Mill and Walter Reed Community Centers in the past few weeks.
On March 17, CPRO’s Executive Director, Kim Klingler, delivered 12 meals to staff at the Arlington Mill Community Center COVID-19 testing center. The meals were purchased from Café Sazón by CPRO thanks to an anonymous donor.
On April 7, 40 meals were delivered to the staff at the Walter Reed Community Clinic. The vaccination clinic at Walter Reed Community Center is staffed by members of Arlington County, Arlington CERT, Virginia Department of Health, and the Arlington County and Virginia Medical Reserve Corps. The meals were purchased from Rincome Thai thanks to a generous donation from local community members, Jon and Susan Etherton.
