Arlington, VA – The Columbia Pike Partnership is pleased to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors and one new member who is a liaison from the Planning Commission. These individuals bring a wealth of experience, diverse perspectives, and deep commitment to our organization’s mission. In addition, the Columbia Pike Partnership would like to extend its sincere appreciation to the outgoing board members for their dedicated service and valuable contributions.

  • Daniel Rogers (Board Member) is a forward-thinking Regional Manager at BM Smith who deeply understands resident preferences and business operations requirements. He is adept at keeping residents engaged and happy with a strong sense of community. Daniel is eager to support business and resident needs by leveraging over ten years of managerial experience and strong administrative expertise. CPM, ARM, DEI Committee Chair with IREM Northern Virginia Chapter.
  • David Hilde (Board Member) is the Vice President of Development for Jair Lynch Real Estate Partners and brings over 15 years of real estate experience with a primary focus on multifamily and mixed-use projects in the DC Metro area. He is responsible for overseeing development projects from design to completion, providing guidance to teams and consultants. Mr. Hilde demonstrates strong leadership in community engagement activities and has a successful track record of delivering over 4,000 multifamily units, 500,000 square feet of office space, and 300,000 square feet of retail. He held various roles at reputable companies like Caruthers Companies, JBG Smith Properties, and Vornado/Charles E. Smith.
  • Daniel Weir (Planning Commission Liaison) moved to Arlington in 2007. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Barcroft School and Civic League. Before moving to Barcroft, he lived in Dorchester Apartments in Columbia Heights for five years. He has served on various commissions and working groups, including the Transportation Commission and the Thomas Jefferson Working Group.Daniel holds a JD from the George Mason University School of Law and an MA in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia. He earned a BA in Political Science from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. He and his wife Laurel have lived in Barcroft since purchasing their first home there in 2013.
