Explore the diverse flavors and hidden gems along the Columbia Pike corridor.

The Columbia Pike Lunch Club is a monthly event that brings together community members who share a passion for good food and supporting local eateries. Our mission is simple: to boost lunchtime business along the 22204 zip code, also known as “the world in a zip code,” by utilizing the Columbia Pike Recipes for Recovery book as our guide.

First Stop: On Wednesday, May 31, we had the pleasure of hosting the first-ever Columbia Pike Lunch Club at Bangkok 54 Restaurant, and it was an incredible experience.

With 26 enthusiastic community members in attendance, the restaurant buzzed with excitement and camaraderie. The aromas of Thai cuisine filled the air as conversations flowed and friendships were forged. From fragrant curries to savory stir-fries, each dish was a work of art crafted with love and attention to detail. The flavors transported us to the vibrant streets of Thailand, while the warm and welcoming ambiance of the restaurant made us feel right at home.

Second Stop:

On June 28, we took our second culinary journey to Los Chamacos. The vibrant decor, bold spices, and fresh guacamole transported us to Mexico. The warm hospitality made us feel like we were among friends.

We were a large group of 25 hungry and lively souls. The staff was able to accommodate us without any hassle. We all enjoyed a delicious and satisfying meal.

If you’re looking for a taste of Mexico, we highly recommend Los Chamacos. The food is authentic, the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is festive. You won’t be disappointed.

Beyond the exquisite cuisine, the Columbia Pike Lunch Club proved to be a catalyst for connections and community engagement. As we savored our meals, we had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, share stories, and discover common interests with fellow attendees. It was a delightful reminder of the power of food to bring people together, fostering a sense of belonging and unity.

Through the Columbia Pike Lunch Club, we aim to highlight the rich culinary landscape of our neighborhood while providing much-needed support to local businesses. By patronizing these establishments during lunchtime, we contribute to their sustainability and growth, ensuring that they continue to thrive and serve as vital community hubs.

We invite you to join us on our next culinary adventure as we continue to explore the diverse flavors and hidden gems along the Columbia Pike corridor.
