2026 Columbia Pike Movie Nights

Free Movies Under the Stars!

All movies start at sunset (at 8:30 pm) and are shown in English with Spanish subtitles. In case of inclement weather, please check this page, and our social media channels for updates. This information is typically posted at 3:30pm on the day of each screening.

We are very excited to bring back this year our 14th edition of free outdoor movies!

On Saturday nights, join us at Arlington Mill Community Center’s or Penrose Square Apartments’ outdoor plaza.

Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs/blankets, etc. Restrooms are available in nearby shops. Leashed pets are welcome. Alcohol is NOT permitted at Arlington Mill Community Center.

Directions and Parking Information

Arlington Mill Community Center is located at 909 S. Dinwiddie St., Arlington, VA, 22204. Parking is available in the Arlington Mill garage. Arlington’s Car-Free Diet offers details for bus and bike travel.

Penrose Square is located at 2501 9th Road South, Arlington, VA. Parking is available in the Penrose Square garage. Arlington’s Car-Free Diet offers details for bus and bike travel.

The world comes to Columbia Pike! Join us at Arlington Mill to watch the World Cup Quarterfinals on the big screen. Enjoy international eats, music, and the electric atmosphere of cheering alongside neighbors from around the globe. Miss Congeniality

Date: July 18th

Arlington gave Hollywood Sandra Bullock, and we’re celebrating with a special screening of Miss Congeniality! Join us and our friends at MOCA Arlington for tiara-making before the movie, then settle in for an evening of comedy under the stars. Beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Date: July 25th
Location: Arlington Mill

Shoot your shot with GOAT, the new animated comedy about a determined young goat chasing his dream of becoming a professional basketball star. Packed with laughs, heart, and underdog spirit, this family-friendly movie is perfect for basketball fans and kids of all ages. CPP will be selling ice cream during the event, with all proceeds supporting future Columbia Pike community programs and events.

I Know What You Did Last Summer

We’re ending Movie Nights on the Pike with a killer finale. Join us under the stars for I Know What You Did Last Summer, the iconic summer slasher that helped define a generation of horror fans. Grab a beer or wine, settle in with friends, and enjoy one last unforgettable summer night on Columbia Pike filled with thrills, chills, and plenty of screams.
