Official Rules

1. 1. Program Period. The Pike Passport opens Saturday, October 10, 2026 at Pike Fest (Penrose Square, 2597 Columbia Pike, 12:00–6:00 pm) and closes Sunday, December 20, 2026 at 11:59 pm ET. Check-ins recorded outside this window do not count.
      
   2. Eligibility. Open to anyone 18 or older. No residency requirement — you do not have to live on Columbia Pike to play. CPP staff, board members, and immediate family are not eligible to win prizes. One account per person.
   3. No Purchase Necessary. No purchase or payment of any kind is required to register, check in, or win. Simply visiting a participating business during its open hours and scanning the QR code enters you. Purchases do not improve your odds.
   4. How to Join. Registration is free at the Pike Passport page. You will provide a name and email address so we can reach you if you win. Your passport lives on your phone.
   5. How to Earn Check-Ins. No stamps, no paper, no passport to carry or lose. Visit a participating business during its posted hours, scan the QR code displayed inside, and your check-in records instantly on your phone. Each business counts once for the length of the program; repeat visits are always welcome but do not add check-ins. Check-ins must be made in person on the premises.
   6. Completing Your Passport. A passport is complete once you have checked in at 75% of participating businesses — roughly 23 of 30. The exact number is set when the business list is final and is shown on your passport at all times, so you always know how close you are. Once complete, you are automatically entered into every remaining weekly drawing until you win. Nothing further to do.
   7. Weekly Drawings. Drawings are held every Friday at 12:00 pm, beginning Friday, October 16 and running through Friday, December 18, with a final drawing on Monday, December 21 for everyone who finishes on closing weekend. Each week, winners are drawn at random from all participants who have completed their passport by noon that day and have not yet won. Winners are then removed from the pool, so it is one prize per person for the full program. Odds depend on the number of completed passports in the pool that week.
   8. Prizes. All prizes are generously donated by participating Pike businesses — gift cards, services, and goods from the corridor itself. There is no cash grand prize. Prizes are awarded as-is, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged, transferred, or substituted. CPP may substitute a prize of comparable value if one becomes unavailable.
   9. Claiming a Prize. Winners are notified by email at the address used to register and announced on CPP’s social channels. Winners have 10 days to respond. Unclaimed prizes return to the pool for a later drawing. Pickup location and instructions are included in the notification. Winners may be asked to sign a short acknowledgment of receipt. Prize values may be taxable to the winner.
   10. Fair Play. Check-ins obtained by sharing QR codes, photographing a code for later use, or scanning without entering the business are not valid. CPP may void check-ins or disqualify an account it determines in good faith to be fraudulent or automated.
   11. Your Information. CPP collects your name and email to run the program and contact winners. We may send you Pike Passport and CPP updates; you may unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell your information.
   12. Changes. CPP may modify, suspend, or end the Pike Passport if circumstances require. Updates will be posted on the Pike Passport page. CPP is not responsible for technical failures of the Digital Event Passport platform or for the quality of goods and services provided by participating businesses.
