Chicha Morada

Chicha Morada is a chicha–cumbia band based in Washington, DC, blending psychedelic chicha, traditional cumbia, and Latin American musical influences into a high-energy sound.

The project draws from chicha, a Peruvian style that emerged in the 1960s and ’70s, combining cumbia rhythms with electric guitars, Andean melodies, and Afro-Caribbean influences. Chicha Morada brings these elements into a contemporary sound shaped by psychedelic textures, driving rhythms, and a powerful live presence.

The Dulcetones

The Dulcetones provide a fresh acoustic take on pop, rock, jazz and folk classics featuring the hammer dulcimer, guitar, stand up bass, clarinet and vocals.

Pocket Threes

Formed in 2022, Pocket Threes is a high-energy cover band of classic rock, country, soft rock, disco, and pop tunes. With a lineup of talented musicians who share a passion for music, Pocket Threes delivers unforgettable performances that resonate with audiences of all ages. Pocket Threes delivers an energetic mix of classic rock, country, disco, and pop, covering crowd favorites from artists such as The Rolling Stones, The Who, Eagles, Bruce Springsteen, KC and the Sunshine Band, The Killers, Zac Brown Band, and many more! From classic rock anthems and country sing-alongs to danceable disco hits and popular favorites, the band’s diverse repertoire and engaging stage presence create a fun, high-energy atmosphere that keeps audiences entertained and coming back for more.

Village Edu

Village Edu is a nonprofit zoo in Bethesda that offers live animal interactions to spark conversation, engage the mind, and bring the beauty of the natural world to the next generation. Each educational session features live animal encounters designed to be fun, social, and engaging to encourage conversation about animal science. Village Edu specializes in arthropods and reptiles with more than 180 species from around the globe.

CycleBar

CycleBar Columbia Pike is a boutique indoor cycling studio at the corner of Columbia Pike and S. Glebe Road, offering rhythm-based rides for every fitness level, first-timers and seasoned cyclists alike. Classes take place in the studio’s CycleTheatre, a purpose-built space with custom bikes, amphitheater-style seating, concert-quality sound, dynamic lighting, and large flat screens, with each bike equipped with CycleStats technology that tracks calories, RPMs, watts, and class rank. Rides are led by specially trained instructors and set to high-energy CycleBeats playlists. Riders get free shoes and towels, plus both street and garage parking. The result is a low-impact, high-energy workout with a real sense of community behind it.
